Marketing / Database Analyst – Costa Mesa

In-house marketing department has a need for a marketing / database analyst for 3-6 months. Duties: Utilize the marketing database software to create marketing lists and reports for business units throughout the organization. Responsibilities include structuring mailing tests, data entry of direct mail campaign selection criteria, report development and analysis of direct mail campaign results, and the ability to communicate analyses to Product Managers, District Offices, and Management. Provide feedback and segmentation recommendations for future direct mail campaigns to Product Managers.Other Requirements:- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and presentation skills. - BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business or other related area is required. - Two years experience in Finance, Marketing, Database Marketing or related field preferred. - Prefer experience with marketing analytics and report development utilizing SAS Campaign Manager, SAS Enterprise Guide or similar software applications. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. - Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy. - Working knowledge of relational database architecture desired. - Rate is dependent on the level of experience with marketing list segmentation.
